Wishing all my friends a happy new year! hope this year brings you all the color and vibrancy you deserve. This is a little something I drew to kick off the new year. It's my take on our uni campus.

The line and wash technique I was using allowed me to create a beautiful blend of colors, while also providing a sense of depth and texture. But as I worked, I made a discovery that would change my painting process forever.

I had heard of using varnish in oil and acrylic paints, but never thought to try it with watercolor. But as I experimented, I found that adding a layer of varnish on top of my watercolor painting not only protected the colors from fading, but also gave it a glossy finish, similar to that of an oil or acrylic painting. It was like a whole new world of possibilities had opened up to me.

It was a game-changer for my art, and I couldn't wait to see what other secrets the world of painting had in store for me. Thanks to my experimentation and willingness to try new things, my art was about to reach new heights.
